Course Details: The Business of Therapy is a 2.5 day, LIVE interactive course that includes over 19-hours of content weaving together instruction and work time designed for you to walk away with a plan in place to help you build your next entrepreneurial dream.

The Business of Therapy Learning Objectives:
- Recognize the importance of having a congruent vision and setting congruent goals
- Identify the 5 different parts of an airplane used as an analogy for having a successful business
- Understand the 3 things required for great marketing
- Examine the impact that money scripts have on the ability to make and save money in a business
- Understand the importance of applying the concept of “Thinking Time” into building a successful business
- Examine how to tackle limiting beliefs and overcome fears in pursuit of building a business
- Identify quarterly and yearly goals while learning how to put them into a strategic plan
PLUS, you can expect to:
- Discover what is truly important to you and how to create a congruent vision.
- Think and problem solve like an entrepreneur.
- Navigate the “feedback systems” that arise in business creation.
- Create a strategic plan, set goals and manage time horizons.
- Identify and shift your money psychology.

Materials Needed: Your idea and a willingness to go for it! Lisa will teach you the roadmap and you’ll individualize the steps and put them into action in real time! Any other materials, such as handouts, will be outlined in the course site.

Day 3 – Leadership/Being a Business Owner
8:30am-9:00am: Day 3 Begins/Work Time
9:00am-11:30am: Learn/Work/Integrate
11:30am-12:00pm: Closing

Lisa built her first of six businesses in 2003 and has been building and creating ever since. She has written books, launched a successful podcast, is an international teacher and speaker, business coach to organizations and individuals worldwide, and she’s transitioned the Synergetic Play Therapy Institute from a local business to an international organization.

Synergetic Play Therapy Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7450. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Synergetic Play Therapy Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Continuing education credit hours may be awarded to graduate-level counselors or students enrolled in a graduate-level mental health program. If you do not qualify for continuing education credit hours and would like to receive a certificate of completion for this course please contact the Institute directly.

Please note: CE Credit Hours provided for this program will NOT be accepted by the Australian Play Therapists Association (APTA) or the British Columbia Play Therapy Association (BCPTA) due to the learning objectives of this course not being play therapy specific.
Refund Policy: Cancellations received 4-weeks before the start date of the program will receive a full refund minus a $150.00 USD administrative/processing fee.
