Course Details: During this 4 day live in-person program, you will engage with your fellow Certified SPTer delving deeper into yourself. You will be taken on a journey into the mind and the body in order to gain a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness between the two. We will flow between didactic teachings and experiential learnings so that you can further empower yourself and reclaim the parts of yourself that have been minimized, hurt, stuck and stunted by trauma and life’s challenges. You’ll also walk away with a deeper understanding of what Lisa means when she says, “Self Mastery requires regulation of the body and regulation of the mind.”

Advanced Self Mastery Learning Objectives:
- Discuss what authenticity really means.
- Analyze the 4 perceived threats/challenges from Synergetic Play Therapy and apply in your own life.
- Understand the significance of the animal brain and higher centers of the brain.
- Discuss ways of further developing the interoceptive sense.
- Describe how symptoms in the body reflect a person’s stories and narrative.
- Identify the homeostasis mechanisms in the mind.
- Describe how to develop the capacity to see experiences from multiple perspectives
- Discuss how to develop reflective awareness.
- Apply the Demartini Method to integrate challenging experiences into a person’s narrative.
- Differentiate how the nervous system/brain/amygdala develop in utero and after birth to give you a deeper appreciation for this magnificent part of your body/creation.
- Discuss relationship dynamics and patterns from a human behavior perspective.
- Explain the nuances of the patterns of activation of the autonomic nervous system.
- Explain why self-mastery requires regulation of both the mind and the body.
Plus, on day 3, get ready for an inspiring 9-hour session where we’ll dive deep into personal work using the groundbreaking Demartini Method. This experience alone promises to provide insights and transformations that far exceed the value of the entire retreat.

Synergetic Play Therapy Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7450. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Synergetic Play Therapy Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Refund Policy: Cancellations received before 4-weeks from the start date will receive a full refund minus a $150.00 USD administrative/processing fee.
