Yoga & Play Therapy: Building the Bridge Between Body & Mind Learning Objectives:

  • Understand what yoga is and how a yoga practice builds key therapeutic skills in play therapy
  • Evaluate body postures (asanas) that emerge in play therapy for both the child and therapist
  • Explain how a variety of body postures (asanas) are tools for identifying emotions, regulating, and integrating trauma in play therapy

CE Credit Hours: 1 CE Credit Hour, NBCC Content Areas: Counseling Theory/Practice and the Counseling Relationship & Wellness and Prevention
