COME BACK TO REVIEW, REFRESH, & KEEP LEARNING KEY INTRODUCTORY CONCEPTS OF SYNERGETIC PLAY THERAPY – FOR FREE!

JANUARY 2025 – JUNE 2025

As a previous student of any Level 1 Introductory program (Online/In-person Introduction to Synergetic Play Therapy, Synergetic Play Therapy Supplemental, Synergetic Play Therapy Intensive), you are invited to come back for this FREE Introduction to Synergetic Play Therapy Refresher course.

Each month, you will get access to short videos that highlight important and key introductory concepts of Synergetic Play Therapy. These videos will be followed up by a monthly LIVE one-hour webinar with Judy Norman, Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Teacher, Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor, and Co-instructor, along with Lisa, for the Synergetic Play Therapy Certification program, for an opportunity to come back into community.

That’s six new opportunities to review, connect, and deepen your learning of the basic principles of Synergetic Play Therapy! Plus, you’ll get access to handouts and additional resources/short videos to keep the learning going. During the webinars, Judy will add in new understandings, as well as help you review, deepen, and continue to apply the basic principles and key concepts of Synergetic Play Therapy into your clinical practice or daily life.

Plus, Lisa is constantly learning herself and updating the Synergetic Play Therapy teachings, so this course will also give you the opportunity to hear new nuances and insights as they have been added to the Level 1 program.

What: This home study course is an opportunity to go back to the basics with monthly pre-recorded module videos, 6 monthly live webinars, and additional resources to keep you learning and integrating the material! PLUS, as of 2024, this course now includes access to two additional video lessons on the topics of Synergetic Play Therapy & Cultural Humility and 4 Threats and the Set Up Through a Cultural Lens with the Synergetic Play Therapy Institute’s Cultural Ambassador, Liliana Baylon!* 

*If you took an Introductory Level 1 Introduction to Synergetic Play Therapy program prior to July 2023, these two additional lessons will be completely new to you!

Required Book: Have your copy of Aggression in Play Therapy: A Neurobiological Approach for Integrating Intensity handy and review chapters as we go along. 

CE Credit Hours: 0 Credit Hours, Please note that as this is a refresher of an introductory course/program that you have already taken, therefore, CE credit hours cannot be awarded.

Presenter: Judith Norman, MA, MS, LPC, RPT-S

Judith is licensed as both a Professional and School Counselor. Judith is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and is also Certified as a Synergetic Play Therapy Teacher and Supervisor, and in EMDR therapy, along with being trained in Mindfulness in Education. She has been utilizing the tenets of Synergetic Play Therapy in educational settings for the past 10 years, leading to the development of social-emotional, trauma-informed programming to support students and educators.

Ongoing Consultation: While consultation is not a part of this course, we understand that consultation can be a very important part of your learning, growth, and journey as a therapist. We strongly recommend adding in some individual or group consultation with one of our Synergetic Play Therapy Consultants, while taking part in this Refresher course. Choose 1, 2, or up to 6 sessions at a time. If you get a group together (one of the best ways to learn!) you get a discount. Learn more here!
