Hi (Dia Dhuit ) Im Geraldine aka GER from IRELAND ,THE ISLE WITH 40 SHADES OF GREEN !
I certified just this year 2024 and have loved every single session learning about myself THROUGH SPT . I have done a lot of soul searched through the introduction to SPT and all the way through my certification process ,it has been amazing learning to accept myself and know that my best is enough indeed.
I am quiet the groupie following Lisa for years IN LESSONS FROM THE PLAYROOM and finally got to meet her in person 2 years ago in Ireland. ,My lovely supervisor Lyndsay is one amazing advocate for SPT BECAUSE OF HER kind and gentle way I kept going AND although I carried all my emotions with me in particular SELF DOUBT these came and left WHEN EXPOSED as would all uninvited guest.
I was already hooked ON SPT since 2021,it was during covid I began my training , and WOW does SPT BLOW MY MIND . I HAVE COMPLETED MY LEVEL 8 IN PRINCIPLES IN ART THERAPY WHICH COMPLEMENT MY SPT PRACTICE CONNECTING MOVEMENT AND FLOW IN MANY FORMS.
I love just being me in the playroom NOW and being able to connect on a real meaningful level fully present ,connection is real with the childrens because as Lisa says the CHILDREN are the best barometer for Authenticity for sure. I have people driven crazy with my passion for THE SPT MODALITY lol and have created a lavender Blue garden to provide extra opportunities for children to express and regulate their emotions, and communicate their needs and abilities, while exploring the many bespoke play areas . it is 40 SHADES OF PURPLE , THE CHILDREN LOVE THIS GARDEN,PURPLE SWINGS ,PURPLE JEEP.PURPLE OBSTACLE COURSE ,PURPLE LIBRARY.PURPLE FLOWERBEDS AND PURPLE HEATHER AND LAVENDER FOR SENSORY FEEDBACK AND IT OFFERS THEM HEALING OPPORTUNTIES TO EXPLORE CREATE EXPERIENCE AND ALL IN their own time and pace LINKED SEAMLESSLY FROM THE PLAYROOM . YOU WOULD NEVER GUESS THAT PURPLE IS MY FAVOURITE COLOUR!!!!!
