Yoga and Mindfulness

What to Expect: In this practice we journey into the heart chakra, the energetic center that represents the interconnectedness of the physical heart and lungs and our capacity to feel with ourselves and others. Together we will explore the postures that support energy and information flow through the areas of the chest, upper back, shoulders, arms and hands, as well as breath practices that nourish the diaphragm. Please join Lauren in a practice that nurtures the gateway between the lower chakras and the upper chakras, and is the integration point for embracing all parts of ourselves— the heart.
What to Bring: You are welcome to use a yoga mat or a towel, but neither are necessary, and you are encouraged to wear whatever clothing feels comfortable to you.
