We are excited to have you returning to renew your credential and get re-certified! This is an important step in continuing to deepen your skills and integration of the Supervisory material. Plus, we are continually adding and expanding the Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisory teachings, so it is beneficial to be able to hear this information again and again.

SPT Credential Renewal/Recertification Policy:
Renewal of the Certified Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisor credential is required every 6 years. In order to successfully renew and remain current in your credential status, you must complete the all SPT Credential Renewal/Recertification requirements for the Certified Synergetic Play Therapist credential PLUS the Certified Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisor credential requirements, below. Excess hours may not be rolled over into the next 6 year cycle. If CE credits are not submitted timely, students will no longer be able to use the title Certified Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisor until renewal occurs.
CE renewal forms are due to the Institute by May 31st of your renewal year. Forms submitted prior to your renewal year will not be reviewed.
Certified Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisor Credential Renewal Requirements:
- Completion of the Becoming a Certified Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisor Recertification course.
- Participation in one of the following:
- Supervisor Consultation Group with Lisa, OR
- SPT Consultant Clinical Group (Intro Consultants only) or Certification Consultant Group (Cert Consultants only)

- December 1st, 2023: 3rd video course release – How to Supervise a Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisee
- February 1st, 2024: 4th video course release – How to Supervise a Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisee
- February 26th, 2024: Recorded webinar with Lisa Dion – Running A Group Supervision (1 hour)
- March 1st, 2024: 5th video course release – How to Supervise a Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisee
- March 1st, 2024: Video course release – Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervision through a Cultural Lens with Liliana Baylon (1 hour)
- April 1st, 2024: 6th video course release – How to Supervise a Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervisee
- April 8th, 2024: LIVE webinar with Liliana Baylon – Synergetic Play Therapy® Supervision through a Cultural Lens, 5-6:30pm
*Live attendance at the April 8th live webinar with Liliana Baylon is highly encouraged. However, should you be unable to attend live and online, a recording of the session will be uploaded to your course site within 24 hours of the live session.

Certificate Information:
After the course officially closes on June 30th, 2024, you will receive a CE Certificate from the Synergetic Play Therapy Institute via email confirming that you have met all course requirements. This certificate should be saved and submitted along with your CE Verification Form by May 31st of your renewal year. CE Verification Forms should not be submitted prior to your renewal year.
