This Certified SPT Supervisor Consultation Group, facilitated by Lisa Dion, is designed to offer support and guidance to individuals that have graduated from the Level 3 Becoming a Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor program. The purpose of this group is for Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisors to bring real cases and questions regarding how to supervise their supervisee(s) and to get real time feedback and support!

This group is for you if you…

  • Feel alone as a supervisor and want to be a part of a kick ass community
  • Sometimes feel “stuck” with your supervisees
  • Want feedback regarding your skills so that you can take them to the next level
  • Want support in learning and integrating various applications of Synergetic Play Therapy in your supervision work
  • Want to keep learning how to become a supervisor
  • Want to hear about others’ cases and learn from your peers

Over the course of 10 months, this group will meet a total of 8 times! That’s 8 opportunities for support, guidance, and community!

*Participation in this group also meets partial requirements for SPT Credential Renewal/Recertification of the Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor credential!

Course Prerequisite(s):

Must have graduated from the Level 3 Becoming a Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor program.

Course Details:

This group will meet 8 times over the course of 10 months, beginning in October 2025 and ending in August 2026. Each group will be 1.5 hours in length and will be hosted via live webinar through Zoom, allowing for Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisors to join around the world. During each group, attendees will discuss cases, insights, review Synergetic Play Therapy principles, and continue to learn how to be fabulous supervisors!

PLUS, Mili Shoemaker, the Synergetic Play Therapy Institute’s Supervisor Trainer and Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor, will be joining one of the consultation groups to lead a discussion on supervision and culture!

When: October 28, 2025 – August 11, 2026

Supervisor Consultation Group Dates: All groups will be held from 3-4:30pm Mountain Time (Denver). If you are located in a different time zone, you may use this Time Converter Tool to do so!

If for some reason you are unable to attend a particular live webinar date, you will have the option of sending questions to Lisa ahead of time and the group will discuss your questions on your behalf. All live webinar groups will be recorded.

SPT Credential Renewal/Recertification Requirements for Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor Credential:

If you plan to use your participation in the Certified SPT Supervisor Consultation Group with Lisa to meet partial SPT Credential Renewal/Recertification requirements for your Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor credential, you may not miss more than 2 of the 8 consultation groups. You must be present for the full 1.5 hour group for attendance to be counted.

Refund Policy:

A full refund less a $50 USD administrative fee will be granted if the Institute is notified within 30 days of registration or before the first scheduled supervisor consultation group, whichever comes first. After this time, no refund will be granted, however, the cost of registration may be transferred to a future Supervisor Consultation Group with Lisa or another course/program offered by the Institute.
