A Brand New Course with Lisa Dion!
Through the lens of Synergetic Play Therapy, this presentation reimagines attachment as more than a bond between child and caregiver. Instead, attachment is explored as an internal process that shapes how individuals relate to themselves in moments of stress, emotion, and connection.
Participants will examine how attachment patterns develop as intelligent protective strategies, how these patterns continue to organize experience across the lifespan, and why emotional age often differs from chronological age. Drawing on neuroscience, co-regulation, and play therapy, this presentation highlights how the therapeutic relationship creates opportunities for individuals to develop greater capacity, flexibility, and security within themselves, transforming the way they relate to both self and others.
