We are so glad that you have decided to join us for the Online Introduction to Synergetic Play Therapy program with Lisa Dion!
The intention of this email is to confirm that you are enrolled in the program and to provide you with key information to make sure you are on the right track!
This program launches on January 27th, 2026, with a LIVE Webinar at 2:00pm Mountain Time (Denver), followed by the release of the Module 1 video lesson.
Important Information to Get You Started:
- Monthly Group Consultation: Please take a moment to complete the Group Consultation Request Form. This form will ask you to answer a few questions and will allow you to choose and reserve your preferred group consultation time. We encourage you to complete this form ASAP as group assignments will be on a “first come, first serve” basis!
- Your assigned Synergetic Play Therapy Consultant will contact you to introduce themselves and confirm your group dates/times once your group has been finalized, no later than Friday, January 30, 2026. For more information about Group Consultation, please refer to your course site!
- Your Online Learning Account: Your online learning account is the home to your online course site and is where you will go to watch all module videos, take quizzes, access program materials and handouts, locate links to the live webinars, print your certificate, and find other useful information about your monthly group consultations and program requirements. We encourage you to log in early and often to ensure you are getting the most out of your program!
How to log in to your Online Learning Account:
- Click here to log in to your account. (Your login credentials are the username and password you set up when you purchased this program.) Save these credentials for ease – you’ll be using them frequently!
- Once logged in, click on “My Courses” at the top of your account page and you will see a link to Online Introduction to Synergetic Play Therapy January 2026 – June 2026. This is your course site and where you will go each time you need to access your program materials!
If you haven’t already, please purchase the required book Aggression in Play Therapy: A Neurobiological Approach for Integrating Intensity. Available in English, Spanish, Japanese (NEW!), and Audio. This is required reading and your reference guide for the program.
Lastly, please be sure to add the program dates to your calendar. When each lesson launches, it is highly suggested that you watch the module videos within two weeks and before you meet with your SPT Consultant to maximize your learning. You will receive email reminders from the Institute, as well, when modules open and ahead of live webinars. If you cannot attend a live webinar in real time it will be recorded and uploaded to your course site for you to watch at a later date.

- April 28th: Video Lessons released – Synergetic Play Therapy and Cultural Humility AND 4 Threats and the Set Up Through a Cultural Lens
- May 1st: Module 4 released – Partnering with Caregivers/Tracking the Play
- May 22nd: Module 5 released – Understanding Attachment & Emotional Age
- June 16th: Webinar 3: One-hour LIVE Webinar (2:00pm Mountain Time, Denver)
- June 19th: Module 6 – Sand, Art, & Aggression in Synergetic Play Therapy
- June 19th: Video Lessons Synergetic Play Therapy and Cultural Humility AND 4 Threats and the Set Up Through a Cultural Lens Quiz
- June 19th: Book Review – Aggression in Play Therapy: A Neurobiological Approach for Integrating Intensity
