Thank you for choosing to join us for the 2027 Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor Recertification program! The intention of this email is to confirm your registration and to provide you with important information to help you get started.

Program Timing & Module Release Dates:

The program officially begins February 17, 2027, with the release of your first pre-recorded module. Below you can find the full list of module release dates – go ahead and mark your calendar now!

  • February 17, 2027, Module 1: Navigating the Complexities of Ethics in Play Therapy Supervision through an Synergetic Play Lens
  • March 3, 2027, Module 2: Synergetic Play Therapy Tenets and Concepts for Supervisors through a Cultural Opportunity Lens
  • April 7, 2027, Module 3: What does it mean to be a Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor? 
  • May 5, 2027, Module 4: Deepening our Understanding  of Synergetic Play Therapy Supervision
  • June 2, 2027, Module 5: Beginning our Work with Supervisees
  • July 7, 2027, Module 6: Embodying Synergetic Play Therapy Principles in Supervision
  • August 4, 2027, Module 7: Attachment to Self as the Cornerstone of Supervision
  • September 1, 2027, Module 8: Empowerment and Overcoming Challenges for Supervisors and Supervisees
  • October 6, 2027, Module 9: Group Supervision through a Synergetic Play Therapy Lens*
  • November 3, 2027, Module 10: Transitions and Endings in Supervision through a Synergetic Play Therapy Lens

*Although you will have the opportunity to move through the program at your own pace, the program is designed to support you in progressing at a steady pace, and you will be required to complete the program before access expires January 31, 2028.

Getting Started:

  1. You have been granted access to the “2027 Certified Synergetic Play Therapy Supervisor Recertification Program” in your online learning account. Log in to get started!
  2. Please read through the information on your course site and complete the first lesson, “Program Agreements“, before February 17, 2027, to avoid any delays in accessing your first module.
  3. All program handouts, including the “Supervisor Recertification Handouts Packet”, will be available within your “Program Handouts” lesson come February 1, 2027.

Individual Consultation:

During the program, you will be required to complete a Professional Development Plan, to be reviewed during individual consultation with an SPT Supervisor Consultant. Your assigned consultant will contact you by February 19, 2027, to introduce themselves and help you prepare for this requirement.
