We’re so glad that you have chosen to join Lisa Dion and Judy Norman for the 2027-2028 Synergetic Play Therapy Certification Program! We have received your payment and you have now officially claimed your spot!
Please read through this email carefully to ensure you are prepared for what’s to come as you have things to do before the program officially begins in August.
How to get started:
- Accessing your Program Course Site – Log in to your online learning account today and navigate to the “My Courses” section of your account page. There you will find your new course site, “2027-2028 Synergetic Play Therapy Certification Program”, waiting for you. *If the course site is not showing up in your account, please email info@synergeticplaytherapy.com immediately for assistance.
- The first time you log in to your course site, please read through the information on your course homepage carefully and take steps to complete the first lesson.
- SPT Certification 2027-2028: Pre-Certification & Consultation Prep – This primary lesson of your course site will help you orient to the required Pre-Certification Consultations you will be completing with an SPT Consultant before the program officially begins in August. Here you will find all of the documents needed to move through Pre-Certification Consultations smoothly and important information regarding consultation attendance/make-up policies.
- You will receive two emails from the Institute in the coming days:
- The first will be to you and your Pre-Certification Consultant to support you in scheduling your Pre-Certification Consultations. Once you receive this email, you two can begin right away!
- The second will be in the form of a Google notification, granting you access to a Google Drive folder with your name as the folder title. This folder is where you’ll upload all of your assignments during the program, so bookmark or “star” this folder to make it easy to find!
- If you need help navigating the Google Drive folder please email info@synergeticplaytherapy.com for assistance.
- Online Learning Retreats – Within your official acceptance email, you received your Retreat Assignment for the online learning retreats. You were either assigned to “Retreat A” or “Retreat B” based on your location.
- Dates and times for your assigned retreat can be found in that email or on your course homepage. *Retreat Assignments are final to ensure balanced retreat sizes. If you have an extenuating circumstance that interferes with your ability to attend your designated retreat, contact the Institute ASAP.
- Live Webinar Dates – All mandatory live webinar classes will be held via Zoom from 3-4:30pm Mountain Time (Denver). Mark your calendars now, if you have not already done so:
- 2027 Dates: September 14th and September 28th, October 12th and October 26th, November 9th and November 30th
- 2028 Dates: February 8th and February 22nd, March 7th and March 21st, April 4th and April 18th, May 2nd and 16th (Graduation)
- Other Important Dates to note:
- On July 5th you will be granted access to the 3.5 Day Online Learning Retreat lesson in your course site. This retreat does require preparation.
- You will also receive an email from the Institute by July 9th with details for your retreat presentation, so please continue to to keep an eye on your inbox for program-related communications.
*PLUS, as an extra perk for enrolling in this program, you have also been granted access to a FREE bonus video course “How to Have a Successful Intake” to help you begin preparing for your time in the Synergetic Play Therapy Certification program and the first online learning retreat. We hope this course will also be a way for you to remain engaged in Synergetic Play Therapy teachings until the program officially begins. You will find this course under the “My Courses” section of your account.
