Live Webinar – Intergenerational Trauma Through the Lens of Family Constellation with Mili Shoemaker
During this hour together, we’ll delve into the exploration of intergenerational trauma through the lens of Family Constellation. Developed by Bert Hellinger (1925-2019), Family Constellation (FC) offers a systemic approach to family-level intervention. From the perspective of FC, experiences, emotions, and unresolved issues from one generation can be passed on to the next, creating a cycle that persists until they are acknowledged and integrated. This transmission often results in repeated symptoms across generations. Through the process of Family Constellation, individuals gain insight into these inherited dynamics, allowing for the integration of unresolved experiences within the family system. Additionally, we’ll explore the points of commonality that this modality shares with Synergetic Play Therapy. Join us as we uncover the hidden influences of intergenerational trauma and work toward healing and integration. By acknowledging and addressing these underlying patterns, we pave the way for healing and transformation within ourselves and our families.
